Full of Grace

For from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace. John 1:16

There is one thing in this world for which I am immensely thankful—and so much so that my heart feels like it is going to explode all over this keyboard. It is GRACE. Do you know it? For the law was given through Moses, the law that guides and condemns, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Grace and truth. Let’s talk about it.

Satan tells lies, and those are that I’ve done so much wrong that I am beyond help. Beyond deserving anything, that I have gone astray and cannot come back. But the God of grace says, “You are forgiven. And that’s that. Now come and sit with me on this cozy couch and I will tell you how much I love you.” My God has the coziest of couches.

Last week, God led a woman I had met recently, in bible study, to call me and see if she could be my mentor. I was like—YES! And so yesterday we met, and wow. Wow wow wow God knows what He is doing. She talked about her life, and I opened up about mine—similar struggles. And she pointed me back to grace. You are forgiven. And that’s that. Now let’s drink some more coffee and chat about the wonders of our God.

I am full of His love, and chomping on His grace. How wonderful it feels to be reminded that I have been forgiven. I am thankful for God, for Jesus Christ, for life, for GRACE. And so I am freed from guilt to love this day, to thank my God, to bless His name for delicious food, and to count every gift in my life as a lovely and perfect gift from Him.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving y’all :)
